In accordance with the current requirements of Mountain Leader Training (UK) WGL, ML(S) and SPA syllabi and the standards of clinical practice required for providers of emergency life support in the United Kingdom.

This qualification indicates completion of an educational course and does not infer ability to practise. It may NOT be used to indicate a professional qualification, or a license to perform a specific procedure, unless governed by the individuals’ contract of employment.

Individual accountability for any action subsequently taken, or treatment provided by the individual must be governed according to the providers professional guidelines and approved codes of practice. It is recommended that all MECC Providers hold appropriate professional liability insurance as required.
